40 hours per week

8 - 4 or 9 - 5 may need to be flexible on occasions

The CSM UK head office is in the Wirral with other production facilities throughout the UK. The total annual turnover for the UK business is in excess of £200 million.

 

The primary function of this role is to support the Quality Systems Manager in ensuring documents used within the factory are current and available to the relevant departments and people.

 

Documents include the following-

 

  • Standard operating procedures
  • Line records
  • Quality Attribute Sheets

 

Result Areas

 

  • Originate, implement and maintain factory documents.
  • Manage the SOP approval process.
  • Update company systems to enable training to be measured for relevant documents.
  • Review documents when required by changes to customer requirements, Quality Procedures, Non-conformances or periodically to maintain their currency in conjunction with the Quality Systems Manager
  • Deliver training to relevant factory personnel when required, this could happen across all shifts, so some flexibility in working hours may be required.
  • Undertake internal audits as required. Other duties as requested

 

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

 

  • You will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to think on your feet with an eye for detail and work to a deadline
  • Good Microsoft Office Suite Skills (Essential)
  • A very good standard of verbal, written and spoken English (Essential)
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a food factory (Desirable)
  • Previous experience in delivering training (Desirable)
