PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

As a major area of influence the Factory Controller will be responsible for the Production Costs of the Factory, supporting the Plant Manager, Finance Supply Chain and Management Accounting in analysing the key variables to influence and achieve the Plant’s KPIs according to rules and procedures, legal requirements and instructions from Finance Management Accounting

MAIN TASK:

 

• To prepare and analyze internal reporting: preparation of all factory KPI's, analysis of indicators, budget deviations and compared with previous year, collaboration with Accounting area in the monthly closings tasks, etc.

To prepare and analyze external reporting: preparation of 'Supply Chain Report', coordinating activities of other SC sections involved in the process.

To participate in the costing consensus process for new products  launches in order to ensure maximum profitability.

To calculate transfer pricing.

To coordinate and prepare reporting exercise in the fixed time frames, analysing deviations over the budget, previous year and at different periods, in order to control that spending and savings are allocated correctly analytically and otherwise, to propose appropriate corrective action.

To control  and alert the company concerning Price increases of Raw/Pack/bought-in and Intercompany Prices.

To control and analyze deviations of CAPEX projects: budget, authorization limits, deviations, etc.

To analyze viability of investment projects to facilitate the decision making processes.

To act as a Finance Business Partner in the factory

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

Studies: University degree in Accounting, Finance and/or MBA.
IT knowledge: MS Office, specially, Excel Advanced and SAP.
Previous experience: 2 years minimum performing similar functions in a multinational company with manufacturing area. 
Languages: fluent in English and local language (Spoken and written).
•Specific knowledge in financial, tax and audit legislation preferable.
