Inventory Analyst


Position Profile:

The  Inventory Analyst, reporting to the Demand Inventory Planning Manager, will support: tracking, organizing and reporting on inventory and dedicated project activities. The analyst’s duties will include serving as point of contact for inventory and project reporting; analyzing inventory discrepancies, inventory targets, product lifecycle, and other critical data support; and driving adherence to inventory policies and procedures.


Position Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Support planning, customer service and project teams with weekly ad hoc reports on inventory levels

Provide analysis on seasonal product, new product launches/ transitions and life cycle planning

Assist in setting inventory targets and managing inventory levels to reduce at risk inventory and waste

Maintain accurate classification (MTO/MTS) and segmentation (A, B, C and E) at plant and SKU level

Drive process improvement with focus on waste avoidance and sustainability

Use SAP and BW to extract data for analytics daily

Perform other duties or functions as assigned


Experience / Skills:

Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel PowerPivot and Microsoft Access is a plus)

Critical thinking, analytical and detail oriented

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Extremely organized with strong time management skills

Able to multi-task and manage shifting priorities within a fast paced and deadline driven business

Superior communication skills both verbally and written

Strong customer service skills

Preferred Experience:

  • SAP experience (planning books)



Preferred Bachelor’s Degree (Supply Chain preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.  


Travel Requirement:

Approximately 5%
