The Senior Project Manager, Capital Projects is a key member of the Supply Chain Support Center.  The Sr Project Manager will lead/execute and/or support the execution of key strategic initiatives, which may deliver productivity savings and service improvements. The Sr Project Manager will be responsible for transformation initiatives and process capability with an operational excellence focus.  The Sr Project Manager will be responsible for managing resources and priorities to support strategic initiatives as driven by the Supply Chain leadership team. The role will require program management, project management and change management expertise. Operational expertise, strong people leadership, excellent communication and influencing skills, and the ability to lead complex, large-scale initiatives.  This includes focus on creating a work environment that engages employees at all levels in the business to help drive out unnecessary work, improve and simplify processes, and continually reduce costs.  


  • Responsible for all North America Supply Chain capital project spend and schedule.
  • Serve as Project Manager or Project Owner for select key capital projects in North America.
  • Liaise between stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure project costs and deliverables are clearly understood and communicated.
  • Have visibility and detailed understanding of each capital project and ensure risks and mitigations are outlined.
  • Host a regular review amongst stakeholders overall to ensure capital spend and cash out is within tolerance.
  • Continuously seek out cost savings (waste reduction) opportunities that drive service improvements and bottom line results.
  • Provides support in achieving the operational productivity targets and identifying Best Practices opportunities.
  • Collaborates with regional leadership in order to communicate benchmarking methodology and drive improvements.
  • Drive employee engagement and organizational health.
  • Provide technical assistance in order to teach, provide expertise or validate processes. Coaching, motivating & developing talent.
  • Improve productivity and capability of the workforce through current technology enablement, training, process improvement and identifying best practices.


• Bachelors degree
• Formal Lean, Six Sigma or OE certification
• 5+ years of operational excellence experience and supply chain experience

• MBA or equivalent
• Greenbelt or Black Belt Certification
• 7+ years of operational excellence experience and supply chain experience
• 3+ years of operations/manufacturing experience
